Today, the illustrious people of Ezinesi Autonomous Community in Oduma, Aninri Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria, join hands to celebrate a quintessential leader, a devoted servant of the people, and a beacon of inspiration—Honourable Godfrey Kama—on the joyous occasion of his birthday.

A scion of legacy and nobility, Hon. Godfrey Kama is the esteemed first son of the revered Chief Nze Ezenta of Ngeneanwanta, a distinguished educator and member of the Ezinesi Forerunners Council. From a lineage marked by service, wisdom, and cultural integrity, Godfrey Kama emerged as a torchbearer of purpose and progress, continuing his father's legacy with pride and excellence.

A man of admirable intellect, unwavering integrity, and deep-rooted humility, Hon. Kama began his journey in public service as a councilor representing Ezinesi Oduma Ward 3. His exceptional leadership qualities, transparency, and passionate commitment to community development earned him the confidence of his peers, culminating in his emergence as the Leader of the 4th Assembly of the Aninri Legislative Council.

His spiritual depth as a man of God, coupled with his charismatic leadership style, positioned him as a transformative figure within his community. In 2024, the people of Ezinesi Oduma entrusted him with a higher mantle of leadership by electing him President General of Ezinesi Autonomous Community—a position he holds with honour, vision, and profound responsibility.

Under his stewardship, Ezinesi Oduma is experiencing a new era of unity, progressive dialogue, and grassroots revitalization. Hon. Kama's governance style reflects a rare blend of youthful dynamism and traditional wisdom—qualities that have made him a model for emerging leaders across Enugu State and beyond.
