The Enugu State Government, through its Ministry of Culture and Tourism, has approved and is fully supporting a new and exciting event called “Laugh and Walk,” organized in partnership with the Association of Enugu State Comedians and MCs (ASESCOM). This special event will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2025, and it is the first of its kind in Nigeria. Participants will walk through the major streets of Enugu while comedians perform and crack jokes along the way. The idea is to keep people entertained, healthy, and happy all at the same time. The walk will start at Okpara Square, passing through Government House, New Haven, Ogui Road, Stadium, Presidential Road, and then return back to Okpara Square.
